NASCAR Busch Race Tickets

The Busch Series competition, which originated from NASCAR's old sportsman division, officially began racing competition in 1950 as NASCAR's short track race division. The Busch Series became NASCAR's forth following the introduction of the Modified and Roadster series in 1948 as well as the Strictly Stock in 1949. In 1968, the Busch Series was renamed the Late Model Sportsman Series and afterwards begun to entertain its fans on larger race tracks like the Daytona International Speedway. Until 1982, the cars used for the Busch Series on larger tracks were obsolete Grand National cars. However, a new concept was hatched in the life of NASCAR's Busch Cup Series with the introduction of the touring format. The series, which switched sponsorship to Busch in 1984, was renamed the Busch Grand National Series in 1986. NASCAR witnessed some changes that caused the dropping of "Grand National" from the series title in 2003. The development that followed saw NASCAR issuing new guidelines in 1989, which required cars to utilize body styles akin to such used for Winston Cup. In 1995, the use of V6 engines was illegalized. The Busch Series decided to spread its tentacles to other parts of the world and thus held its first race outside the U.S. known as the Telcel Motorola 200 on March 6, 2005 in Mexico City, Mexico. The second Busch Series race took place on August 4, 2007 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Quebec's Montreal. The competitions heroes were Kevin Harvick and Patrick Carpentier as they finished first and second respectively.
