In 2006, Jimmie Johnson was part of NASCAR's Nextel Cup Championship where he had 5 victories which included 2 of NASCAR's most prestigious car races. He made history when he tied for NASCAR's best start and made his 20th victory in 150 races. This same year, Jimmie Johnson was voted "The Best Driver of the Year 2006." He did have a string of successes in 2005 where he achieved one pole, 13 and 22 top-five and top-ten finishes respectively. Mr. Jimmie Johnson is still attached to his favorite districts and so maintains strong ties to San Diego. His co-host is Marty Smith, a NASCAR journalist and close friend of Johnson. They have brought various guests on board the show. Johnson's high school friend who is a Major League Baseball player, Marcus Giles was a guest including fellow car race drivers Matt Kenseth, Brian Vickers, and Jeff Gordon.
