In line with the custom on Fox TV's broadcasts on NFC Championship Game, Jimmie Johnson did appear on the 2007 post-race show for the NFC Championship where the resilient Chicago Bears later defeated New Orleans' Saints. In 2006, Jimmie Johnson was part of NASCAR's Nextel Cup Championship where he had 5 victories which included 2 of NASCAR's most prestigious car races. He made history when he tied for NASCAR's best start and made his 20th victory in 150 races. This same year, Jimmie Johnson was voted "The Best Driver of the Year 2006." He did have a string of successes in 2005 where he achieved one pole, 13 and 22 top-five and top-ten finishes respectively. His co-host is Marty Smith, a NASCAR journalist and close friend of Johnson. They have brought various guests on board the show. Johnson's high school friend who is a Major League Baseball player, Marcus Giles was a guest including fellow car race drivers Matt Kenseth, Brian Vickers, and Jeff Gordon.
