Jeff Gordon's career as a car racing expert and driver is a string of successes as far as NASCAR is concerned. For someone who started at a tender age of five, he has so far earned enough awards and accolades as compensation for his efforts. From 1993 all through the years to as late as 2005, Jeff Gordon has been doing exceptionally well in almost all NASCAR's competitions. His family's move from Vallejo, California to Pittsboro, Indiana respectively helped his ambition because of the strong presence of young racing drivers in Indiana.

Before he turned 18, Jeff Gordon had won 3 short-tracked motor races. In 1989, he was given the award of USAC Midget Motor Racing Rookie. The following year, he won the title again and so began the winning streak that elevated his fame, career and success to a great level such that by the turn of the new Millennium, Jeff had become a mega NASCAR brand and one among five of the best NASCAR drivers of the decade. Although his was a car racing career that came with many challenges; his doggedness and undaunted nature helped him to maintain a steady rise to the top of his game. In the year 1998 which became one among his best seasons, the NASCAR driver enjoyed the sweet sail of success when the year was recorded as his 3rd consecutive year of winning at least ten car races.
