NASCAR Sprint Series Tickets
The premier series' first ever Sprint Cup Champion will be crowned at the end of the competition. The television contracts between FOX, TNT, ESPN, ABC and NASCAR will be its second during the 2008 season. NASCAR has made public the 2008 schedule after which the various teams issued statements confirming the driver or sponsors' contract with the respective teams. It is also been officially conformed that the Car of Tomorrow template will fully be utilized by all Sprint Cup races. It might be of interest to know that teams intending to make the first five events of the 2008 races on speed are listed with their owners' point standing finish in boldface. In May 2007, NASCAR announced the dropping of the original timetable due to some reasons raised by over 80% of the overall owners.
Part of plans to mark NASCAR's 60th anniversary as the longest operating body of stock car racing sees the first two weeks of January 2008 as being pretty eventful with the first test following the change of the calendar at Daytona International Speedway. In addition, the 2008 season commemorates NASCAR's 40th year of racing one-mile oval. The grand venue is home some of NASCAR's best premier series since 1969. While teams that end the test in odd numbers will test from January 8-10 with a rain date of January 11, teams that finish in even numbered positions are billed to take their tests on January 15 through January 17. Even numbered teams will take a rain date on January 18. Look through NASCAR's official box office or online for tickets, which have been on sale since Monday, October 1, 2007. The 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series sure promises to be interesting.
